St Just Dog Agility

Agility is a great way to use up your dog's
extra energy. It is both physically and mentally stimulating and can help build your relationship with your dog.
My name is Carolyn Boyd and I have been running a dog agility group in the
fenced off fields next to the house since 2007, and doing agility myself since about 2003.
I compete, with varying levels
of success, with my dogs, but that is not what the classes are about - we keep it relaxed, fun and sociable.
Not done agility before - Why not join a beginner group or start with
a one to one lesson. To do agility, dogs need to be at least 12 months old and have basic obedience skills. Classes teach
all the main equipment - jumps, tunnels, weaves, tyre and contacts. Every handler and dog will learn at a different speed, so
when you can run your dog safely around a course and complete all the equipment you can join in one of the mixed ability groups.
If you would like to join in the next beginner group then give me a call. Done
agility before - If you and your dog are experienced at agility already, you can probably join straight
in to one of the mixed ability groups. These are drop in groups, no need to book in, but if you have not been before please
call me first - see below for times.
On holiday in West Cornwall - If you down here on holiday and want to give agility a go and have a fun hour
with your dog, give me a call. One to ones can be booked on Tuesday afternoons and Saturday afternoons when time
allows.
