June Held in the neighbouring town of Penzance, Golowan, the Feast of St John, is a ten day programme of diverse festivities, entertainment and music.
July The Lafrowda Festival is St Just's main festival, building up with two weeks of workshops and events to a colourful carnival of stunning mobiles
and entertaining music which takes place on the third weekend in July each year. Watch our short Lafrowda day video

August St Just's Art and Crafts show is held at
the local school and runs for the first two weeks of August. As well as showcasing local artists and craftspeople, the event
raises money for Cancer Research.
Celebrating Newlyn fish and fishermen, Newlyn Fish Festival takes place on August Bank Holiday.
September The St Ives September Festival will takes place mid September each year. There is plenty of music, films, talks, poetry, exhibitions and other
events.
November St Just's Feast held every year on the first weekend after 31st October to celebrate the dedication of the parish church. The
celebration comprises a church service and civic procession on the Sunday, and on the Monday a larger scale popular celebration.
December The
lights go on in St Just the Friday one week before Christmas week, and the world famous Mousehole and Newlyn lights are switched
on mid December ... well worth a visit.
